Ricky Gervais has given fans a first look at the brand new David Brent film.
The comedian released the first teaser trailer for the eagerly-awaited David Brent: Life on the Road on Thursday morning.
With Gervais back in the iconic role as the ‘laid back entertainer’, the clip shows Brent as he attempts to launch a music career while working as a rep at a company called Lavichem.
“He’s back – did you miss me?” he says as he bounds into the office to an awkward silence.
In typical Brent style, the teaser features a number of embarrassing interactions with his female co-workers.
Attempting to describe one of his songs, which is a ‘metaphor for sex’, the wannabe star proceeds to cause offence.
Speaking to the camera, he says: “I’m currently a singer/songwriter. And a rep.”
