Dani Dyer has said that Charlie Brake and Ellie Brown were never going to last post-Love Island.
The couple split this week after months of break-up rumours and alleged arguments with Brake releasing a statement on Instagram.
Dyer, who is dating Jack Fincham, reacted to the news on Wednesday morning’s Capital Breakfast Show, telling host Roman Kemp she didn’t have faith in her fellow Love Islanders going the distance.
Asked if she was surprised by the news she said: “Not really, no. Clearly they weren’t meant to happen. Hopefully they’ll find their happiness somewhere else.”

Brake broke the news of his split from Brown on Tuesday night. In a statement on Instagram he wrote: “Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best.”
Brown, who has yet to comment on the split, fuelled rumours they had parted after she posted a story documenting her move to her own flat.

She told fans she had packed up 25 boxes of clothes, writing: “On my way to pick up keys to my first ever apartment.”

The couple had recently returned from a romantic break in Gstaad, Switzerland.
They are the latest couple from this year’s series to part following Frankie Foster and Samira Mighty, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops and Jack Fowler and Laura Crane.
