Ed Sheeran arrived to the BRIT Awards 2018 red carpet still sporting the silver ring that sparked speculation he has already married fiancée Cherry Seaborn.

Sheeran looked dapper ahead of his performance at the ceremony in a black suit along with a white rose corsage to show his support for the Time’s Up movement.

The Shape of You singer sent the rumour mill into overdrive earlier this week after he was sported on stage at a gig with a silver band on his ring finger.

Sheeran announced his engagement to Seaborn in January, but the jewellery led many to wonder if the pair had already married in secret.

The 27-year-old shared the news of his upcoming nuptials with his fans in an Instagram snap of him and Seaborn embracing.

He wrote: "Got myself a fiance just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx."

Sheeran is nominated for four Brit Awards including Best Single, Best Male Solo Artist, Best Album and Best Video.

Seaborn did not join her husband-to-be on the red carpet.
