Back To The Future Day: Doc Brown celebrates October 2015 with video message for fans
Dr Emmett Brown has recorded a video message for Back To The Future fans to celebrate 30 years since he first travelled to 2015.
The famous physician and inventor of the DeLorean – played by Christopher Lloyd – time travelled to October 21, 2015 in the second film in the franchise.
The official Facebook account for the film posted a 50 second clip of Doc Brown sitting inside the iconic DeLorean as he reassures fans with some wise words about the future.
Opening with his famous catchphrase, he said: “Great Scott!
10/21/15! The Future is NOW! Doc Brown has a special message just for you. #BTTF2015

“If my calculations are correct it is now precisely October 21st 2015. The future has finally arrived. Yes, it is different than we all thought.
“But don’t worry, it just means your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one.”

Social media has been abuzz with Back To The Future fans celebrating the film’s anniversary.
And Nike threw fans into a frenzy this morning when it tweeted Michael J Fox in a post.

Fans were quick to speculate that the sportswear brand will today release the self-lacing shoes that Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) wore in the film.
In January, designer Tinker Hatfield confirmed he and his team at Nike were working on the shoe design complete with power laces.
Dubbed the MAG, Hatfiled hoped to have the shoe released by 2015, according to Nice Kicks.
