Canadian and American Guinness enthusiasts took note after Brooklyn Beckham's recent Instagram post sparked a wave of criticism.

The youngest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham is well known for his love of food and drink, and frequently shares cooking videos online, many of which spark enraged comments over his technique.
Yet it wasn't the 27‑year‑old's culinary abilities, but the pour on a pint of Guinness that infuriated his followers.
Posting on his Instagram Story on Thursday, Brooklyn Beckham shared a picture of a pint of the Irish stout with a muddled brown tinge between the head and body, and the bottom portion of the glass frosted.
In the comment section beneath the post, Brooklyn Beckham, who is currently estranged from his family, was accused of sharing the picture of his pint as "ragebait for Guinness drinkers".
"Whoever pulled that so‑called pint should be sacked," one commenter wrote, while another said: "Looks like it hasn't been poured properly or something is wrong with it."
Another comment read: "OMG Nooooooooo, the whole of Ireland wept," with a second echoing: "Waiting for the entire Irish community to comment."
The pour on a pint of Guinness is a hotly measured topic online, with opacity, a sharp line between the head and body all being considered markers of a good pint and an entire Instagram page dedicated to "S*** London Guinness".
Fans in Canada and the United States also guard the proper Guinness pour, often debating the same visual cues on social media. In Toronto and Boston, similar outrage has been expressed when a pint fails to meet the classic two‑layer look.

He repeated this technique in another video earlier this month, leading fans to speculate that he had filmed the clip knowing it would infuriate his viewers.
In the comment section beneath his most recent cookery video, which saw Brooklyn Beckham making a cottage pie, he was quick to remind his followers that he wasn't a trained chef and didn't claim to be.
