A woman has died and two others are seriously injured after a shooting outside a nightclub in midtown Manhattan, according to reports.
The women are said to have been shot outside the Motivo nightclub near New York’s Fifth Avenue in the early hours of this morning.
A 24-year-old died in hospital and two others – both aged in their 20s - are being treated for serious injuries, NBC New York reported.
The women are said to have left the club after being involved in a dispute with a man.
Local media said a gunman then waited outside the popular club before fleeing the scene in a BMW.
Motivo describes itself on its website as “New York’s hottest upscale nightclub and event space” which offers an “unparalleled party experience”.
