Kanye West has broken his silence for the first time since he was taken to hospital with stress and exhaustion by discussing his meeting with Donald Trump.
The rap superstar and the president-elect bumped shoulders like old friends after their meeting at Trump Tower in New York City on Tuesday.
In his first Twitter posts for almost two months, the 39-year-old musician said the pair had spoken about “issues including bullying, supporting teachers, modernising curriculums, and violence in Chicago".
He wrote: "I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues.

“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”
West previously announced his own plan to run for president in 2020, but tweeted "#2024" after the meeting with the president-elect.

Mr Trump said the two were "just friends" and that they discussed "life", describing the musician as a "good man".

West recently spent more than a week in hospital for stress and exhaustion after abruptly cancelling his US concert tour.
Last month, the star, who is married to Kim Kardashian West, said he did not vote in the US elections, but if he had done so, he would have cast his ballot for Mr Trump.
