A construction worker was killed in a New York park when he was crushed by his own van, police said.
The man was working in Central Park near East Drive and East 74th Street on Monday at around 6.40am when he left his white Ford van to check a mechanical issue.
As he investigated the problem, the van rolled down an incline and crushed him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The New York Post reported the man had been working near the park’s Loeb Boathouse.
The truck is owned by MSM Empire Construction which is based in Mineola, New York.
