Donald Trump says that Judge Kavanaugh’s testimony was “powerful, honest and riveting.”
It comes after a day of testimonies from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford drew to a close on Thursday.
Dr Ford has accused Mr Kavanaugh of sexual assault 36 years ago. She said the event had "drastically changed her life" during her testimony.
While Mr Kavanaugh denies the allegations and said he would not quit the Supreme Court nomination process.

Mr Trump said: “Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest and riveting.
“Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!”
Supreme court nominee Brett Kavanaugh testifies before the SenateAPDr Ford alleges that a drunken Mr Kavanaugh attacked her and tried to remove her clothing at a gathering of teenagers in Maryland.
She claims it occurred in 1982 when he was 17-years-old and she was 15.
The academic fought back tears as she told the US Senate committee that she was sexually assaulted by the Supreme Court.

Dr Ford told the committee: “I believed he was going to rape me.”
Mr Kavanaugh denied the accusations and claimed that his reputation had been “totally and permanently destroyed” as he defended himself.
As well as denying this, he labelled other accusations of sexual misconduct also from the 1980s made by two additional women “vicious and false.”
He also said that the claims could have been made out of revenge on “behalf of the Clintons.”
