Adult movie star August Ames has died at the age of 23.
Ms Ames, originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, passed away in Camrillo, California on Tuesday morning, according to reports.
Her death was confirmed by her devastated husband who said: “She was the kindest person I ever knew and she meant the world to me.
“Please leave this as a private family matter in this difficult time.”
The exact cause of death is currently not known. Police said there is no indication of foul play.

Close friends have said that the star was suffering from long term depression and fear she could have taken her own life.
Ms Ames appeared in 270 adult movies and won two Adult Video News awards after starting work in the porn industry three years ago.
Several members of the adult industry took to Twitter to share their shock upon hearing the news.
Performer Abella Danger said, “She was the most kind-hearted person ever.”
Producer/director Jules Jordan tweeted: “Rest In Peace to August Ames, one of the best, nicest people I ever knew in the business.”
The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that she had died.
