Firefighters have performed a dance routine set to a Mary Poppins song as part of a campaign to promote chimney sweeping.

Members of the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue black watch team were filmed linking arms and spinning each other around on a rooftop as part of a stunt to highlight the importance of fireplace safety.

The video, which features the song Step In Time from the hit musical, has been watched more than 58,000 times since it was shared on the brigade's Facebook page this week.

The routine was praised by the brigade's Facebook fans.

Mandy Shepherd said: "Impressive! especially the cartwheels!"
