Same bright top two days in a row? No way, says hard-working Kay Burley

Kay Burley today denied suggestions she had worn the same top for two days running as she reported from outside St Mary's hospital.

The Sky News anchor wore a distinctive orange blouse during a marathon broadcasting stint outside the Lindo Wing yesterday before appearing in an almost identical outfit this morning.

It prompted some viewers to suggest she’d not had time to change, with Hayley White tweeting: “Has @KayBurley been to sleep? She’s wearing the same top.”

Burley replied: “To clarify this is different blouse to yesterday however I will concede it is a similar colour! What to choose at 4am after two hours sleep.”
