Piers Morgan clashed with an American pro-gun campaigner in a furious row over the Las Vegas shooting on live TV.
The Good Morning Britain host became embroiled in a heated argument with pro-gun campaigner Dan Roberts while discussing whether America's relaxed gun laws should be changed.
Morgan – who is known for his anti-gun stance – said he “feared for America” if nothing changes following the country’s deadliest mass shooting in history.
At least 59 people were killed and more than 500 injured when Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire on a country music festival from a 32nd floor hotel room.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan next to co-host Susanna ReidITV“It’s not complex at all, just get rid of guns,” said Mr Morgan. He added that most people in the UK would be shocked if laws in the US did not change.
However, Mr Roberts, a member of the National Rifle Association, said supporters of gun control need to “stop lying to people or misinterpreting the facts”.
He added that he was “hopeful” nothing would change regarding guns in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting, before the two men descended into a fierce war of words.

Mr Morgan later produced a Kinder Egg to emphasise his point. He explained that some US states had banned sales of the treat yet continued to make guns available.
When Mr Roberts burst into laughter, the opinionated host shot back: “Don’t laugh, it’s not funny. 600 people got shot.”
