Jeremy Corbyn has been praised by fans for his sharp look after appearing on the cover of magazine GQ.

On Thursday the British men’s monthly revealed opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn is its January/February cover star.

The Labour Islington North MP appears wearing a navy suit and red tie on the magazine front.

People were quick to take to social media to praise Mr Corbyn’s smart attire.

One woman on Twitter described the Labour leader’s get-up as “fetching”, while another said he looked good but suggested he might have been airbrushed.

Lydia Blue described Mr Corbyn as "cool" while others mentioned previous pictures which show the politician looking not as well presented.

"His tie looks fine to me," wrote one Twitter user, adding: "The look of a man #ForTheMany."

Mr Corbyn joins previous cover stars such as Liam Gallagher, Alec Baldwin, Cara Delevingne and the Duke of Cambridge who have all appeared in GQ.
