Incredible images show a car in east London completely encased in ice after yet another day of sub-zero conditions in the capital.
The vehicle was completely iced over after it was showered by a burst water pipe amid the plummeting temperatures caused by Storm Emma.
According to local police, the car had been frozen for “a couple of days” as the Arctic blast continued to batter London.
Tweeting a picture of the stranded vehicle on Friday morning, Tower Hamlets MPS joked they offered their “deepest sympathy” to its owner.
“#ResponseTeamB if you are the unfortunate owner of this vehicle in Tower Hamlets you have ERTBs deepest sympathy,” they wrote.
“I actually wish I had time to help you clear it.”

Local residents have reported having no water and heating to Thames Water since the pipe burst.

South West Trains said none of its services from Waterloo will run after 8pm, sparking fears of a rush as commuters head home for the weekend.
Southern rail, which runs a number of train services through the capital, urged commuters try to complete their journeys home before 3pm as Storm Emma continued to wreak snow havoc.
