King's Cross station has been evacuated in rush hour due to a fire alert.
Passengers reported a burning smell and smoke underground and emergency services cleared the station.
Transport for London initially said on Twitter that underground trains on all lines were not stopping there.
The station reopened shortly afterwards however Piccadilly line trains were passing through without stopping.
