Halo 5 Guardians: Here’s how to find Easter Eggs according to developers 343 Industries

Get those trigger-fingers ready – Halo 5: Guardians is about to be unleashed on Xbox One, and it already looks set to be one of the best games of the year.

As you get set to once again take control of Master Chief and the Spartan soldiers, you’ll want to dig into every nook and cranny to get the most out of the Halo saga’s next-gen debut.

Speaking to Tim Longo, Creative Director at game developers 343 Industries, he clued us in on how to find easter eggs hidden in the new game.

“There are actually a lot of easter eggs,” Longo revealed. “Hints-wise, often triggering easter eggs usually involves the numbers ‘343’ in some way.

“I’ll just let that lie out there, and when you think you’ve found something, dabble with those three numbers and maybe something will happen…”

Longo also spoke about new worlds that the game explores.

“We go to San Helios, the Elite home-world, which has been spoken about and written about in all the extended fiction but we’ve never seen it or gone to it,” he explained.

Describing Guardians as “the Halo game we’ve always wanted to make”, Longo promised an “epic campaign” with new Spartan abilities including Spartan Charge and Ground Pound.

As for weapons, you’re going to want to get your hands on the Hydra Launcher.
