An electric car company which has designed a self-driving vehicle that can reach 200mph revealed its first production model today.

The Chinese-backed California start-up said the car, with 30 sensors including radar and cameras, can find its own parking space and be summoned to the owner through a smartphone app.

Faraday claims the FF 91 can reach 60mph in 2.39 seconds, which just beats Tesla’s model, and uses facial recognition for keyless entry.

A £4,000 deposit secures delivery next year.
