The idea proved popular among guests at the InterContinental Westminster Hotel last night, who were there celebrating the start of the party conference season.
“The word should definitely be reclaimed,” said Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan. “Geek means you’re interested in something that rocks your boat.”
Sally Bercow admitted to her geek specialisms: “High-street fashion and eBay.”
