Ultimate bling-bling car covered in diamonds pictured in Knightsbridge

This sparkling Mercedes, encrusted with crystals, gave passers-by a surprise when it was seen parked outside a hotel in Knightsbridge.

The Mercesdes CLS 350 was photographed in all its glittering glory outside The Levin, in Basil Street, close to Harrods this morning.

It is usually only driven by company executives and this model has been transformed into a bling-bling version covered in Swarovski fake diamonds

The owner, thought to be Russian, caused a commotion after parking up outside the high-end west London hotel.

Passers-by paused to get a closer look and snapped images of the car, which is British registered and has a residents’ parking permit.

David Levin, hotel owner, said: “Although I have lived on Basil Street for over 46 years the last six months have seen some extraordinary cards, a gold Ferrari and velvet covered Lamborghini and a 1974 Cadillac to name a few, but surely this must be the ultimate in bling accessories.

“It's been quite amusing for our guests leaving the hotel, they never know what will be parked outside.”
