Trading standards officers seize 'lethal erectile dysfunction tablets' in Southall

Investigators believe the goods were set to be transported to nearby stores ahead of Christmas.

They are now working to trace where the products came from and are questioning local business owners who may have been planning to stock them, a council spokesman said.

Councillor Ranjit Dheer, the council's cabinet member for safety, culture and community services, said: “The council works hard to ensure our residents and communities are protected from unscrupulous traders willing to jeopardise safety in our borough with cheap, shoddy and potentially dangerous counterfeit goods.

"So I am delighted by the diligence of our officers having intercepted this quite significant haul."
