A takeaway worker says he hid inside a kebab shop for three days following the London Bridge attack because he didn’t know it was safe to leave.
Birsen Sabri was inside Cafe Rossi on Borough High Street when the three killers went on the rampage on Saturday night.
In the chaos that followed, he ended up hiding on the first floor of the shop, whlie colleagues and customers took refuge in a storage room downstairs.
They eventually escaped after police shot the killers but Mr Safri, who speaks very little English, stayed in place

He only left on Tuesday when the police cordon was lifted and his colleagues were able to reach him.
Through a translator, he told MailOnline: “It was a big shock. I didn’t know what was happening. It was all over in 10 minutes, but I didn’t want to move. So I stayed.”
Colleague Saban Aslam added: “He must’ve thought he was in a hotel with the whole place to himself.”
Meanwhile, a landlady who helped save dozens of drinkers during the attack claims she was barred from nearby hotels for the night because she refused to abandon her puppy.
Magdalena Antolak barricaded customers inside the Wheatsheaf Pub opposite Borough Market with beer kegs, preventing the three terrorists from entering.
A friend told The Sun she fled with without any money and local hotels told her she could not stay for free with her pet dog.
