Police were called to a stabbing in Moorgate at roughly 23:20 on South Place, close to the Third Space gym. Officers from the City of London Police arrived quickly, establishing a cordon around the gym while emergency crews attended the victim.
At the scene, a noticeable police presence was recorded, with at least three police cars and two police vans stationed in the vicinity. Officers were observed speaking with a group of women nearby as paramedics treated the injured party.
The victim, a man, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged, according to police statements.
Detective Inspector Ben Hurley provided an update, saying: "City of London Police officers were called at around 11:20pm to reports of a stabbing in South Place." He added that enquiries remain ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact the force.
