Detectives investigating sexual assaults on two women at a London Underground station have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

Police say the attacks took place during rush hour at Wanstead Underground station on Wednesday, February 11.

At around 6.30am, a man made sexual remarks towards a woman at the station before sexually assaulting her.

He then went on to sexually assault another women at the station, police said.

British Transport Police has released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following the attacks.

A woman, who is believed to have witnessed the incidents, has been urged to come forward by officers.

Anyone who recognises the man has been asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 73 of 11 February.
