A man in his 20s has died in a motorcycle crash on the Isle of Dogs.
Police were called to Aspen Way, close to the junction of Preston’s Road just before 3.30pm on Wednesday, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance and the London fire Brigade.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are aware and continue to receive support from specialist officers.
The East India Dock Road Tunnel and Aspen Way remain closed and enquiries are ongoing.
