A woman suffered a head injury after she was hit by a motorbike near a busy north London supermarket today.
Police were called by paramedics to Tottenham High Road, near the junction with Seven Sisters Road, at 1.25pm.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said they treated the female pedestrian for a head injury. Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
He said: “She was taken as a priority by road ambulance to a major trauma centre escorted by the doctor from London's Air Ambulance.”
Part of the road beside Tesco was closed off for several hours as police investigated the accident.
