A motorcyclist was rushed to a major trauma unit after crashing in south London.
The biker was knocked off in a collision with a car in Old Kent Road, Peckham, at about 3am on Sunday.
The man was taken to the unit at a south London hospital where he is being treated for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
London Ambulance Service tweeted a photo of the mangled bike lying in the road, which was closed for about two hours.
A spokeswoman for the Met said the driver stopped at the scene and was assisting officers with their enquiries.
