A bus and a van smashed into each other in east London causing traffic chaos during morning rush hour.
The collision took place at the junction of Cambridge Heath Road and Mare Street, Hackney, shortly after 9am this morning.
Witnesses shared images online of the smashed double decker bus and white transit van blocking the street.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
Police said it is believed there were no serious injuries. It is unknown if the bus was carrying passengers at the time.

Road closures were put in place prompting traffic problems in the area.
Drivers reported traffic was at a standstill in Cambridge Heath Road while emergency services cleared up the scene.
