A woman’s body has washed up at an east London dock on the River Thames, police said.

A woman’s body has washed up at an east London dock on the River Thames, police said.

The body was discovered at Dagenham Docks shortly at around 3pm on Wednesday.

The woman’s body was recovered from the river and will be subject to a post-mortem, police said.

Her death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious.
