This is the bizarre moment a man dressed as Santa Claus was confronted by police on a Tube platform in east London.
Snapchat footage captured at Stratford station showed the fancy dress Father Christmas surrounded by two police officers and station staff at around 11pm.
Witnesses told how the man, who was with a friend, appeared to receive a dressing down from officers leading to reports the Santa had been arrested.
But police confirmed no arrest was made.

She told how police marched up to Santa and gave him a ticking off but was unaware what had sparked the confrontation.

She said: “It was hilarious - a guy dressed up like Santa getting in trouble with the police.
“I had to Snapchat it to my friends. Then his mate even took a selfie.
“My friend and I even got into a carriage so we could get one last view before our train went into the tunnel.”
Police said the only arrest at the station on Thursday was a 24-year-old man who was held for being drunk and disorderly before he was later released.
