A double room in Peckham is being offered at the bargain price of £400 per month although there is one slight drawback – the ceiling leaks.
An advert for the flat share, in Old Kent Road, Southwark, was uploaded to Gumtree earlier this week by a private landlord.
The property is to share with two Italian women and an English man, with lots of supermarkets nearby as well as good transport links to central London.
There is also a smart bathroom and shared kitchen area with all the usual appliances.
But the landlord is also brutally honest about the unfortunate leak in the ceiling.
The advert reads: “LEAK – Every now and then there are few drips from the corner of the ceiling, nothing major but it is happening hence the cheap price.”
There is even a photograph included so the potential tenant knows what they are letting themselves in for.
It comes after a London Docklands flat was advertised on Facebook last week with a shower inches away from the bed, while a property measuring just 8ft wide in Barnsbury went on the market for £750,000.
