Halloween horror attack: Knifeman dressed in medieval clothing kills two in Quebec rampage

A man in ‘medieval clothing’ went on a stabbing rampage  in Canada’s Quebec City killing two people and injuring five others. 

The provincial police earlier said they were looking for a man dressed in medieval clothing and armed with a bladed weapon who has left “multiple victims”.

The attack happened near the Parliament Hill area of Quebec City, Canada, late on Saturday, local media reported.

The local police said they arrested a male suspect early on Sunday and told people residing near the area to stay indoors as the investigation was still ongoing.

Police said the suspect is in his mid-20s and confirmed two people have died and five others are hurt.

There were no details on any possible motive for the attacks.

Police said five victims have been transported to a hospital, however there was no immediate information on their conditions.
