Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a man was knifed to death in south London.

Mohammed Nadir Dafallah, 18, and a 17-year-old from Merton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged on Sunday after an 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed on Friday in Wandsworth.

The pair will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Four other people, aged between 16 and 19, have been released under investigation.

The teenager was found critically injured at Deeside Road, Wandsworth, at 4.42pm on Friday and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

He has not yet been named by police.

It came within 12 hours on a day of violence that also saw another three men stabbed during a fight close to Clapham North tube station on Saturday morning.

Another fatal stabbing on Saturday became the third in 24 hours after a weekend of bloodshed in the capital.
