Two men have been charged with murder tonight after a man was found stabbed to death in a south-east London flat.

Nicholas Woods, 41, and Tim Clark, 50, both of Lincoln Close, Erith, were charged after a 34-year-old man was found at an address in the street on Tuesday night.

The pair also face charges of false imprisonment and ABH and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court via virtual link on Monday.

Both men are remanded in custody.

According to the News Shopper, the victim was named locally as Terry Higgins, a father-of-three and former soldier but police have not identified the man.

Medics battled to save him but he was pronounced dead less than an hour later after he was discovered at 10.10pm.
