A teenage boy was bottled in the face and neck in a horror town centre attack in west London.

The 17-year-old staggered to Twickenham police station where he was given first aid before being taken to hospital around 12.20am on Sunday.

A Met spokesman said there had been one arrest in connection with the bottle attack in King Street.

He added: “Police were called to a fight in King Street, Twickenham. Officers attended the location.

“A short time later, a 17-year-old male attended Twickenham police station suffering cuts to his face and neck having been struck with a bottle.

“He was given first aid by officers before being taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

“One male has been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody.”
