Two more teenagers have been charged with murder after a north London college student was stabbed to death.

Anas Mezenner, 17, was found with knife wounds on West Green Road, near Turnpike Lane station, just after 9pm on January 19.

Medics and police officers performed CPR before the teenager was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4.25am the following day.

Anas had been studying media at college in Islington after completing his GCSEs and dreamed of becoming a pilot, his family told the Standard.

A 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the investigation on Wednesday.

They were both charged on Thursday with murder, attempted murder and possession of bladed weapons.

The suspects will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Previously, two 16-year-old boys were charged with murder and possession of points and blades.

They appeared at North London Magistrates' Court on January 22.
