A suspect wanted in connection with the killing of a mother and daughter in Merseyside was arrested this morning at a central London train station.
Peter Fox, 26, was arrested by officers from British Transport Police at Euston station at 7.50am this morning following a report from a member of the public.
A manhunt began after Bernadette Fox, 57, and her daughter Sarah, 27, were found dead within hours of each other at separate addressed in Bootle, Merseyside, on Friday.
Merseyside Police released CCTV images of Mr Fox leaving Liverpool Lime Street station and arriving at Euston station in an appeal to find him.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Rooney said: “I can confirm that a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murders of Bernadette and Sarah Fox this morning and is being brought back to Merseyside.
“A significant amount of work has been carried out throughout the weekend with the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police and I would like to thank them for their assistance.
“I would also like to thank the media and public for their support during the weekend, which has helped us enormously.”
