The British Transport Police are investigating a sexual assault at a west London Tube station.

The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on Sunday, June 21 at Hanger Lane station when a man approached a woman in a subway leading to the London Underground station.

The man repeatedly sexually assaulted her, using force to prevent her from leaving, before fleeing into the station while laughing.

The BTP have now released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.

The man is described as Indian or South Asian, in his mid to late 20s, and around 5ft 7in tall.

He was wearing a light-blue shirt and sunglasses.

Detectives believe he may have information that could assist their ongoing investigation.
