A man has been charged with murder after a 61-year-old was found collapsed in an Essex street in the early hours of the morning.
Derek Bailey was found by a member of the public in Maple Street, Romford, around 6.40am on March 17.
He was rushed to Queen’s Hospital where medics battled to save his life.
Mr Bailey was pronounced dead at the hospital about two hours after he was found in the street.
Richard Laurent, 46, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on Tuesday.
He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
