Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who could be in London after escaping from a prison in Buckinghamshire.

Daniel Lucien, 30, is believed to have left HMP Springhill in Grendon Underwood, near Aylesbury, in a vehicle at 12.30am on Sunday, November 22.

Lucien, who has links to Hammersmith and Hounslow as well as Coventry, is black, 6ft 1in, has black hair styled in an afro, brown eyes and a beard.

Detective Sergeant Jim Forrest, from Aylesbury CID, said: “I would like to appeal to members of the public to report any sightings of Daniel or anyone matching his description.

“He should not be approached if he is seen and instead anyone who sees him should call 101 to speak to police.”

Thames Valley Police have refused to tell the public what crime Lucien was serving a sentence for.
