Five arrested as man stabbed in Pimlico fights for life

Five people have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was stabbed and left fighting for his life in central London.

Metropolitan Police responded to reports of an attack on Lupus Street in Pimlico just after midnight on Thursday, June 4.

A 20-year-old man was treated by paramedics for stab injuries and taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Hood Nasir, 23, of Churchill Gardens, Westminster, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and violent disorder.

Noah Nasser, 25, also of Churchill Gardens, has been charged with violent disorder in connection with the same incident.

Both will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today.

Three other men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

On Thursday, a 17-year-old was arrested and later charged with violent disorder. He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and has been bailed until June 15.

Two men, aged 26 and 24, were arrested the following day on suspicion of attempted murder before later being released on bail.

Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 101, quoting CAD 42/04JUNE or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
