As Canadian transit authorities grapple with safety on crowded trains, British Transport Police are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman on a Northern Line train at London Bridge station.
The attack happened at around 5.40pm on Friday, August 7, at London Bridge Underground station.
The woman was leaving the train when a man sexually assaulted her.
Officers have released images of a man they say could have information that may assist their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 593 of 7 August.
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Transit agencies in Canada and the United States have similarly asked the public to help identify suspects in on‑board assaults, underscoring the shared challenge of keeping public transport safe.
