A man, who was allegedly in possession of a knife, has been Tasered in a south London street.
Police were called to George Street, Croydon at 1.45pm to reports of a man with a knife and gave chase to a suspect when they arrived.
A Met spokeswoman confirmed a Taser was used to detain a man in Katharine Street, near Croydon Town Hall.
Ambulance crews treated the man at the scene.

He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article and is in custody at a south London police station.
No members of the public were injured during the incident but two officers sustained minor injuries.
Earlier today a man was Tasered after a three-hour standoff with police in Bermondsey.
