Man charged with murder of 20-year-old following Kilburn knife attack

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a 20-year-old man last week.

Malakai Ferguson-Ramson was stabbed in the chest during an altercation on Ashmore Road in Kilburn, at around 8.50pm on Tuesday May 26.

Police and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, but Mr Ferguson-Ramson was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.

Richarn Holder, 21, has been charged with murder, following an arrest on Saturday May 30.

He will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday June 3.

A 42-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The Met released CCTV footage which captured the moment terrified bystanders fled the scene following the stabbing.

Video footage shows dozens of young people fleeing the area around Ashmore Road and Drayford Close, either on bicycles or on foot, with some appearing to trip and fall as they ran from the scene.
