A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the fatal stabbing of a teenage girl in Camberwell.
The 17-year-old died after she was attacked at midday on Thursday on Brisbane Street.
London Ambulance and London's Air Ambulance attended however the girl was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 1pm.
Scotland Yard said a 21-year-old was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody at a south London police station.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the suspect and the victim are believed to have known each other.

Murder detectives are investigating the case along with officers from Southwark.
A/DCI Domenica Catino said: “A young woman has been fatally attacked and a 21-year-old man arrested at the scene.
"The suspect continues to be questioned by detectives and detailed enquiries including forensic analysis continues.”
