A teenager has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed in Hackney on Sunday morning.
Police have today named the victim as 39-year-old Jerome Scott of Blyth Road, E17.
Mr Scott was found with wounded at an address in Morning Lane, Hackney, at 10.15am on October 18 and he died a short time later in hospital.
A post-mortem examination carried out yesterday gave a cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
Chevaughn Chin, 18, of Morning Lane, was today charged with the murder of Mr Scott.
He will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, October 21.
