Gang police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in east London.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after the teenager was attacked in Dalston on Saturday evening.

He was knifed in the leg in Princess May Road at about 5.45pm.

Police said he remains in hospital where he is being treated for injuries which are not life-threatening.

Detectives from the Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating but no arrests have been made.

Officers appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
