How to do Phuket like Millie Mackintosh

Influencer Millie Mackintosh recently spent a week at the Rosewood Phuket, swapping winter in London for balmy blue skies at this five-star haven for wellness. While Patong Beach is synonymous with wild nights out, Phuket also has beautiful beaches and top-end resorts.

Where to eat

Mackintosh sampled deep-fried tiny crabs and sweet treats in Phuket Old Town. She also took a cooking class in order to whip up stir-fried noodles.

What to do

As well as practising yoga, Mackintosh explored beaches in Emerald Bay — and, of course, spent time reading by the pool. In the Old Town she visited Wat Chalong with a guide from sustainable tourism operator Khiri Travel.

She also visited the Phi Phi islands. Due to overtourism, Maya Bay — setting of The Beach — is now closed to but you can still admire it from the water as Mackintosh did.
