There’s something about a sunset that feels calming.

Living in the UK, sunsets can be a rarity as we’re often treated to grey skies with the occasional ray of light trying to break through.

When we do happen to catch a sunset, they are nothing short of magical – and the world truly is home to some striking sunsets.

To sate our sun-searcher wanderlust, we’ve rounded up our favourite spots to embrace dusk across the world.

From the aptly-named Sunset Beach in New Zealand, where you can watch the sun set over the Tasman Sea, to New York City’s Manhattanhenge – when you can watch the sun set between two buildings, these sunsets are sure to get you craving some vitamin D.

Watching twilight consume the Taj Mahal in India is definitely at the top of our bucket lists as is perching on a wall in Santorini among the hundreds of other revellers, eating our tzatziki-filled gyros and watching the sun slowly transform the sky’s hue to pink.
