Oh dear, not the tights debate again. Every year, somebody with excellent breeding and long legs is photographed in flesh-coloured tights and suddenly they are OK. Sorry, but unless you’re Beyoncé and looking for stage wear, they aren’t. Stick to black. Low deniers are a brave option as they show up every bump, but if you must, at least get stockings. Good old 100 denier (must be matt) wins every time — warmer, and excellent at dressing down eveningwear if you want to wear it during the day.
